Here is yet another Russian song about birds. In this song birds personify the longing for home souls of Russian people trapped in the land of Hard Cash. As much as Russians miss their elusive motherland they still find time to enjoy the benefits of living a secure and well–fed life abroad.
But from time to time they feel the need to lament and that is when they go to a Russian restaurant to have their share of caviar and vodka, listen to soul-tearing singing and to cry about their wasted lives.
